Go to www.snapfiles.com and click on the Freeware tab near the top of the page. There are a ton of free Firewall,Spyware and cleaner tools to download. I have never purchased any security for my pc, I only use the free stuff.

Where can I find a free program to fix my Windows XP registry?

Question by atomzer0: Where can I find a free program to fix my Windows XP registry?
I’m looking for a freeware program to scan and fix my Windows XP registry. I’ve downloaded 2 programs that looked free, but both scanned my system and asked me to pay money to fix it. Is there a program that will do this that is freeware? If so, where can I get it?

Even though your question sounds like a marketing research effort; I find CCleaner to be the safest choice. Don’t download it from anywhere other than piriform.com (CCleaner software developer) to be safe.
